Implementing the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year Training Plan and based on the practical needs of the college and the enterprise, Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology organized a Signing Ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding on Training Cooperation with Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. The event opens up opportunities to strengthen the connection between vocational education and actual production, while contributing to improving the quality of technical human resources to meet the needs of enterprises.
Attending the Signing Ceremony, representing Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. Takakura Makoto - General Director of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang – Director of the Human Resources Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoan and Ms. Pham Thi Nga - Human Resources Officers of the Company.
Representing Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology were Educator Ha Vu Tuyen - Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the College; Educator Nguyen Van Dong - Vice President of the College, together with representatives of the leadership of various departments, faculties, and affiliated units.
 Overview of the working session
The Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding on Training Cooperation between the two organizations was held in the context of increasingly high requirements for human resource quality, particularly in technical occupations and industrial production. The direct participation of the enterprise in the college’s training process is of great significance, contributing to making training activities increasingly aligned with the actual needs of the labor market.
Speaking at the program, the leadership of Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology affirmed that strengthening cooperation with enterprises is one of the key orientations in the college’s strategy to improve training quality. Through cooperation, the college has the opportunity to receive practical requirements from enterprises in order to gradually improve its training programs, content, and methods, while enhancing opportunities for students to gain access to modern production environments.

Training Cooperation Aligned with Practical Needs
The Memorandum of Understanding on Training Cooperation between Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology and Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. provides a foundation for the two parties to strengthen coordination in training and human resource development activities.
In the spirit of cooperation, the two parties aim to align training programs with the actual needs of the enterprise; strengthen activities such as visits, field experiences, practical training, and internships at the enterprise; and coordinate in career counseling, career orientation, and recruitment after graduation.
In particular, the participation of enterprises in the training process will give learners opportunities to gain a better understanding of the actual working environment, job requirements, and the standards that enterprises expect from their employees.

One of the practical values of college–enterprise cooperation is to establish a direct bridge between training and employment.
Through the cooperation with Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., students will have more opportunities to access information about recruitment needs, occupational requirements, and the enterprise’s working environment during their studies. As a result, learners can proactively develop study plans, improve their skills, and prepare for their future careers before graduation.
For Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology, signing a cooperation agreement with an enterprise operating in the electronics sector contributes to expanding the college’s network of partners, creating additional conditions to improve training effectiveness and support employment opportunities for learners.
Turning the Cooperation Agreement into Substantive, In-Depth Cooperation
The Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding on Training Cooperation between Vinh Phuc College of Engineering Technology and Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. is not merely symbolic but also lays the foundation for a long-term coordination process between the two parties.
